Description: KETEPA is owned by the Tea Farmers of Kenya through the Kenya Tea Development Agency Limited (KTDA) and the Kenya Tea Growers Association (KTGA). The Kenya Tea Development Agency is the majority shareholder representing over 450,000 small scale tea farmers spread all over the country. These farmers own over 60 tea processing factories countrywide and produces over 60% of all the Kenyan Tea. Other major shareholders include Brooke Bond Kenya Limited (Unilever Tea), James Finlay, Williamson Tea and Eastern Produce (EPK) among others who together own 38 tea processing factories, and produce about 40% of the tea produced in Kenya. Job Description

The role reports to the Head of Sales & Marketing and will be responsible for driving brand growth, market share, and profitability. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic brand plans and manage allocated budgets
  • Drive brand availability, sales performance, and market share growth
  • Oversee brand advertising, promotions, PR, and media strategy
  • Conduct market research, analyze insights, and recommend corrective actions
  • Monitor competitor activities and manage brand positioning
  • Lead packaging updates, new product development, and brand extensions
  • Manage brand costs, profitability, and monthly expenditure reporting
  • Supervise trade activations, promotional materials, and external agencies

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing (CIM)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Brand Management within the FMCG sector, with at least 2 years at management level
