The Espresso Lab is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. This role involves managing financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing accurate financial reporting to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations
• Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
• Maintain compliance with UAE tax laws (VAT) and other financial regulations, including VAT filing
• Support internal audits and accounting reviews
• Monitor, analyze, and reconcile accounting data for accuracy and consistency
• Lead initiatives for process improvement within the finance department
• Assist with inventory accounting and cost control for retail and F&B operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including retail, operations, and HR

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of professional accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and local financial regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or ERP systems
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• High attention to detail with the capability to work independently
