SwifttDrop is a growing logistics platform redefining how businesses connect with customers through seamless, reliable and scalable delivery solutions. They are on the hunt for a dynamic Head of Sales & Operations to drive revenue growth and operational excellence. This is a senior role that blends strategic sales leadership with hands-on operational oversight, ensuring our merchants, riders and customers get the very best experience.
Responsibilities;
Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire and retain merchants across multiple sectors.
Lead, mentor and grow the sales team from recruitment to performance management.
Build strategic partnerships with SACCOs, e-commerce platforms and corporate clients.
Drive adoption of SwifttDrop APIs with partners like Jumia, Jiji and Pesapal.
Oversee daily logistics operations: route optimization, rider management and service delivery.
Track and manage key performance metrics, including deliveries, churn, rider performance and customer satisfaction.
Own and achieve monthly and annual revenue targets (MRR & ARR).
Implement incentive programs for sales reps and riders to boost growth and retention.
Balance growth with cost efficiency through smart operational management.
Required Specifications;
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Operations, or related field (MBA is a plus).
5+ years in sales and/or operations leadership — retail, logistics, tech, or e-commerce background preferred.
Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Data-driven with experience in KPIs and financial metrics.
Familiarity with last-mile logistics, rider networks, and e-commerce integrations is a big plus.
