Job Purpose:
Responsible for driving business growth, sustainability and profitability by researching market conditions, producing marketing materials, creating a marketing campaign and managing sales pitches for prospective students.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support development and implementation of marketing and business development strategy
- Implement digital marketing strategies, campaigns and content
- Create tools and materials to deliver on the marketing and business development strategy e.g. proposals, pitches, videos, letters, posters, brochures
- Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns and assess against departmental goals. Provide recommendations on the same
- Use data from web tracking tools like Google Analytics to check the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
- Daily maintenance and upkeep of company website in conjunction with IT department
- Visit existing and potential students/ clients to drive business growth
- Create advertising and publicity campaign strategies and content that are informed by a deep understanding of the business, programs and target audience
- Use techniques like Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) to track, drive website traffic and acquire leads/customers
- Publish videos and photography on company website and blogs
- Review produced artwork in readiness for execution in selected platforms
- Negotiate and agree with media houses on the most appropriate media spaces and rates
- Develop measurement tools for marketing research and intelligence. Manage projects from inception through presentations, supporting roll out of customized surveys/ discussion guides/ screeners, analyzing data, interpreting results and providing actionable insights
- Develop customer survey tools, roll out, and analysis of results
- Monitor customer feedback to improve customer experience across every touch point, develop innovative ideas and action plans to help in enhancing customer service
- Study the market to identify customer needs, target groups and demographic segments, position of the University in the market, effectiveness of product delivery channels
- Monitor competitors’ behaviour including strategic direction, market share, growth and plans
- Provide key input in the design of the organization brand manual
- Organize college fairs, tours, and other student attraction programs on-campus
Academic and Professional Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
- Relevant professional qualification.
- Member of a relevant professional body.
