DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct microbial tests and share reports as per timelines.
• Carry out swabs as per timelines and share a report.
• Ensure incoming materials are in compliance to required specifications.
• Responsible for control of non- conforming materials and products.
• Assist with investigation for customer complaints and nonconformance issues.
• Assist with training and instruction for production operators.
• Responsible for laboratory equipment and inventory.
• Responsible for maintaining Good Housekeeping Practices in the laboratory.
• Maintain accurate documentation in hard and soft copy of quality inspection and laboratory test results.
• Responsible for testing competitor samples and assist in R&D and NPD.
• Responsible to ensure food safety standards are maintained throughout the entire process.
• Ensure all documentation of quality control activities has been done by end of shift
• Monitor water purification and process systems water quality.
• Analysis of raw materials, intermediate and finished goods to ensure conformity to company specifications and legal requirements.
• Ensure implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in production areas.
• Implement Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Degree in Microbiology/biology or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in microbiological testing or quality control, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with laboratory testing techniques and equipment.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality assurance protocols.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate documentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
