Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists HR Business Partners on talent-related matters including, but not limited to performance management, conflict resolution, terminations, etc.
  • Manages allegations of misconduct/policy violations in designated departments from beginning to end, including:
  • Communicating with claimant to acknowledge receipt of allegation and keeping them apprised through conclusion
  • Identifying policies that may have been violated, outlining investigation next steps and recording on the internal tracker
  • Scheduling, conducting and drafting minutes for investigation meetings and hearings
  • Seeking guidance from Legal team and HRBP as appropriate
  • Provides HR policy guidance based on specific location when appropriate:
  • Raises awareness of policies among managers and employees
  • Helps employees to navigate and interpret policies 
  • Helps managers increase compliance and manage non-compliance according to policy
  • Provides administrative support to HRBPs on performance reviews, engagement surveys, learning & development, DEIB and employee communications.
  • Supports managers on effectively addressing employee performance and conduct issues.
  • Partners with relevant People team members and organization on Learning & Development and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging programs and trainings when applicable. 
  • Works alongside People Operations team to develop processes and workflows that improve the employee experience and operational efficiency of the People team.
  • Raises policy concerns directly with People Operations responsible, and when applicable, works with People Operations on policy updates.
  • Improves processes, tools and workflows to create a streamlined and enhanced experience for the HR Business Partnership function.
  • Analyzes and reports on relevant HR metrics.
  • Other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Completed Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) certification.
  • 3 years of HR experience, with experience managing Employee Relations cases of various complexity.
  • Capable of comprehending, interpreting, and applying appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
  • Demonstrates exceptional judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent writing and note-taking skills.
  • Highly organized, responsive and quick.
  • Strong ability to work with people, build relationships and demonstrate compassion and objectivity.
  • Preferred candidates will have working experience in a similar setup, such as a start-up tech environment or a manufacturing setup with a dynamic workforce. Experience in fast-paced, evolving work environments will be highly valued, as it demonstrates adaptability and the ability to manage diverse challenges effectively.
