Many job seekers are losing trust in the hiring process because of one growing problem: ghost jobs.
Too often, positions are advertised even though the role has already been promised internally or a decision has already been made.
Candidates don’t know this.
They spend hours tailoring their resumes, preparing for interviews, and investing hope into the process, only to discover there was never a genuine opportunity.
This doesn’t just disappoint candidates.
It damages your employer brand.
Transparency matters.
If a role has been filled, communicate it clearly.
If priorities have changed, say so.
Honesty saves time, builds trust, and strengthens relationships with future talent.
Candidate experience is part of your reputation.
Let’s normalize transparency and accountability in hiring.
Do you agree? 👇

Not every job seeker comes with a backup plan.
Some borrow money for travel, skip meals, or take unpaid leave — just to show up with hope.
But imagine their pain when they realize the position was already fixed internally.
If you’ve already chosen someone through reference, please be honest.
Don’t invite others just to “complete the process.”
It’s not fair. It’s not professional.
Behind every resume is a person — someone’s son, daughter, or parent — carrying a dream that this interview might change their life.
Let’s bring humanity back into hiring.
Do you agree?

Some candidates speak with confidence and impress instantly. Others may struggle to articulate their thoughts, not because they lack skills, but because of nerves, pressure, or language barriers.
In real work environments, those same individuals often perform exceptionally well.
Interviews can measure communication, preparation, and confidence but they don’t always capture dedication, problem-solving ability, work ethic, or growth potential.
As applicants, we prepare the best we can. As interviewers, I hope we continue to look beyond polished answers and recognize attitude, willingness to learn, and real-world capability.
Because sometimes, the quietest candidates become the strongest contributors. 🌱

You write a thoughtful cover letter.
You wait.
Weeks go by.
Then about a month later, you see the same company repost the same role.
You try to apply again… but you can’t.
Because you already did.
Silence.
This is a message to hiring managers and recruiters:
Please take time to respond to all applicants.
Even a “no” is a response and a very important one.
For candidates, feedback brings:
.Closure
.Direction
.The ability to move forward
No response leaves people stuck, doubting, and waiting.
Recruitment isn’t just about filling roles.
It’s about respecting time, effort, and human dignity.
A short rejection email can make a big difference.
Silence shouldn’t be part of the hiring process.

When two candidates are equally competent in 2026,
I choose the one who’s out of work.
Not because they’re weaker.
But because the job market is brutal right now.
My inbox is full of real stories:
✓ People missing rent
✓ People burning savings
✓ People pretending they’re “fine” on Social Media
Behind every “unemployed” profile is someone: – Refreshing email
– Rewriting their resume again
– Hoping for just one yes
This isn’t about sympathy.
This is about responsible hiring.
Long career gaps don’t always mean lack of skill.
Sometimes they mean:
✓ Bad timing
✓ Layoffs
✓ Market slowdown
To recruiters and hiring managers reading this:
If someone has the right skills and mindset,
don’t disqualify them just because they’re currently unemployed.
You might change their year.
You might restore their confidence.
You might literally keep them going.
Hiring decisions aren’t just business decisions anymore.
They’re human decisions.
And yes, you have more power than you think.
Use it wisely.
Use it kindly.
