This new chip dramatically improves noise reduction and voice clarity during calls, even in noisy environments. The Liberty 5 Pro series succeeds the 2024 version and introduces a redesigned charging case with a larger, externally positioned LCD touchscreen.

Key Features of the Liberty 5 Pro

The Liberty 5 Pro earbuds are priced at $169.99 and come in blue, white, black, and pink. The charging case now features a 0.96-inch LCD touchscreen on the outside for easier access, allowing users to adjust ANC levels or activate transparency mode. The Thus AI chip delivers 100% more effective ANC compared to the Liberty 4 Pro, according to Anker, along with improved voice clarity and faster responses to 20 built-in voice commands.

Battery Life and Performance

Battery life sees a slight reduction due to the AI chip: up to 6.5 hours of listening with ANC on, extendable to 28 hours with the charging case. However, the AI enhancements make up for it with superior noise cancellation and voice command responsiveness.

The Liberty 5 Pro Max, priced at $229.99 in black or titanium-gold, features a larger 1.78-inch AMOLED display on the charging case. This screen provides more controls, including playback and settings adjustments. A standout feature is the ability to record meetings and conversations directly from the case, with the Soundcore app generating transcripts, highlights, and speaker identification.
