Starting August 4, 2026, Apple is rolling out AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss coverage for iPad and Apple Watch in four new countries. This expansion brings enhanced protection to more users, allowing them to safeguard their devices against theft or accidental loss.
The Theft and Loss plans will be available in the following countries:
These plans were previously available only for the iPhone in these markets, but now iPad and Apple Watch owners can also benefit from this extra layer of security.
With AppleCare+ Theft and Loss, you are covered for up to two incidents of theft or loss every 12 months. Each incident requires a service fee, which varies by device and region. For example, in the U.K., the service fee for an iPhone 17 Pro is £109 per incident.
In addition to theft and loss protection, the plan includes all regular AppleCare+ features:
While specific pricing for iPad and Apple Watch Theft and Loss plans has not been announced, the existing iPhone pricing offers a benchmark. In the U.K., AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss for an iPhone 17 Pro costs £11.99 per month or £239 upfront. Similar monthly and upfront options are expected for iPad and Apple Watch, with service fees adjusted per device type.
Prospective buyers should check Apple's official website for exact pricing in their country after August 4.
On the same date, AppleCare One is also launching in Australia, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom. AppleCare One bundles coverage for multiple Apple devices into a single subscription, making it easier to manage protection for your entire Apple ecosystem. For users with an iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch, AppleCare One could offer a cost-effective alternative to separate plans.
To enroll in AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss for your iPad or Apple Watch, follow these steps:
Remember to enable Find My on your device, as it may be required to verify loss or theft claims. With this expanded coverage, your valuable iPad and Apple Watch are now better protected against unexpected events.
