IT and Administration Officer

Nature Kenya is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced IT and Administration Officer to be based in the Nairobi Office. The officer should be able to trouble shoot for internet outages, repair computers, provide IT support to staff wherever needed, among other duties.
The IT and Administration Officer will be responsible for general day-to-day administration duties helping the Executive Director through the Programme Support Manager to ensure the smooth running of Nature Kenya’s administrative operations and information systems. Reporting to the Programme Support Manager, the IT and Administration Officer will work closely with the Species and Sites Manager, Membership Manager, Local Action Manager, Finance Manager, Policy and Advocacy Manager, Programme Assistant, coordinators and other staff to offer necessary administrative support. S/he will supervise, if delegated, administrative staff, interns and volunteers.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
The suitable candidate is expected to hold a university degree in information technology; should be a good listener; trustworthy; team player, and flexible enough to handle multiple administrative tasks.
