Strategic Leadership Focus

Our client is a forward-thinking digital training institution dedicated to bridging the technology skills gap. We are searching for a high-caliber Virtual Learning & Tech Training Lead to architect, manage, and scale our virtual education ecosystem. This is a senior-level mandate that involves overseeing end-to-end tech bootcamps, managing a diverse roster of trainers, and cultivating strategic partnerships. A core focus of this role is social impact—specifically driving initiatives that increase the participation of young women in the digital economy. The successful candidate will combine technical IT expertise with sophisticated program management skills to ensure a 90% completion rate for all learners.

Core Mandate & Accountability

Program Architecture & Bootcamp Execution

  • Mastermind the overarching Virtual Training Program, including the design and execution of intensive tech bootcamps for diverse learner groups.

  • Direct the mobilization and publicity efforts to ensure monthly training targets are consistently met or exceeded.

  • Oversee the instructional design process, ensuring all curriculum content is current, engaging, and aligned with industry needs.

  • Guarantee high-quality delivery across all digital platforms to maintain student engagement and successful certification outcomes.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of trainers, conducting regular briefings to align on pedagogical structures and modality improvements.

  • Manage complex training schedules and trainer rosters to ensure seamless program continuity across various modules.

  • Represent the institution in high-level stakeholder meetings, positioning the organization as a leader in virtual tech education.

  • Provide performance management and appraisals for the training team, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth.

Impact & Diversity Initiatives

  • Spearhead women-focused webinars and digital work series aimed at achieving a 70% female participation rate.

  • Create pathways for youth and women to access high-value apprenticeships, digital work opportunities, and advanced skills development.

  • Design and implement mentorship programs that support learners beyond the classroom, ensuring they are market-ready.

Quality Assurance & Impact Reporting

  • Implement robust Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) tools to collect learner feedback, success stories, and performance data.

  • Drive continuous curriculum improvement based on focus group discussions and market trend analysis.

  • Prepare comprehensive weekly, monthly, and annual reports detailing program KPIs, completion rates, and strategic milestones.

Qualifications & Competencies

Academic & Professional Background

  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. (A Master’s or PhD is a distinct advantage).

  • Experience: 7 to 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years specifically in virtual learning implementation and tech program management.

  • Certifications: Advanced IT or Project Management certifications are highly desirable.

Technical & Leadership Skills

  • Expertise: Proven track record of running end-to-end tech bootcamps and large-scale virtual training programs.

  • Communication: Exceptional executive-level reporting and public speaking abilities.

  • Instructional Design: Knowledge of curriculum development specifically for youth and women-focused digital initiatives.

  • Partnership Building: Ability to identify and secure strategic alliances that enhance program reach and resource availability.
