Job Vacancy – Transport Coordinator (General Transport)
Prime Link Transport is hiring for the following position:
Transport Coordinator (General Transport)
Work Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: AED 4,000 – 6,000 per month (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily transport operations, vehicle allocation, and driver scheduling.
- Ensure timely and efficient movement of vehicles in line with operational requirements.
- Monitor routes, trip performance, delays, and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Prepare and review daily and weekly operational reports (trips, utilization, delays).
- Supervise transport coordinators and drivers to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Follow up on traffic fines, vehicle renewals, permits, insurance, and compliance documents.
- Coordinate with workshop and maintenance teams for preventive maintenance and breakdowns.
- Review driver timesheets, overtime, and prepare payroll-related transport reports.
- Communicate with clients and internal departments regarding transport requirements and updates.
- Enforce safety standards, operational discipline, and performance improvement.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in transport coordination or logistics (UAE experience preferred).
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and operational reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple vehicles and drivers under pressure.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- UAE driving license is preferred.
