Day to day, you will facilitate both classroom and practical sessions, assess learner progress, and refine training materials to address gaps in knowledge or skill. Your work is central to producing competent, confident graduates, as you act as the bridge between theoretical frameworks and real-world application.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and update curriculum, lesson plans, and assessment tools for technical and vocational training modules.
- Facilitate engaging, outcomes-focused training sessions for individuals and groups with varying levels of prior knowledge.
- Evaluate learner performance through practical demonstrations, written assessments, and one-on-one feedback sessions.
- Identify common learning barriers and adapt delivery methods to suit diverse learning styles and needs.
- Collaborate with academic staff and department heads to ensure training aligns with qualification frameworks and institutional objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of learner attendance, achievement, and certification, in line with internal quality standards.
- Regularly review industry developments and integrate current practice into training content to keep programmes relevant.
- Provide coaching and additional support to learners who require remedial attention to meet programme requirements.

- A minimum of three years' direct experience in a similar training role or within a structured tertiary training environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of how tertiary education programmes are structured, accredited, and delivered.
- Strong command of instructional methodologies, assessment design, and learner-centred facilitation techniques.
