Role Overview
This role is the on-the-ground owner of the Sun King Rider Network in an assigned territory, keeping the rider base staffed, safe, productive, and aligned with customer service expectations. Day to day, it blends field recruitment and KYC, rider performance coaching, safety promotion, and cross-functional coordination with procurement and operations teams. The position matters because a reliable rider network directly determines daily order completion, rider earnings, and the quality of the end-customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, assess, and onboard riders into the Sun King Rider Network, complete required KYC checks, and keep active rider numbers above minimum thresholds so daily order completion stays above 95%.
- Build and run rider retention and engagement programs, working with internal teams to improve rider earnings, productivity, and satisfaction.
- Ensure riders have access to required PPE and safety equipment, promote safe riding habits, and engage internal and external stakeholders on safety initiatives.
- Represent the Rider Network in community discussions, local government forums, and related meetings as the primary rider contact in assigned territories.
- Manage rider performance through regular performance conversations, productivity tracking tools, and dashboards that show progress against targets.
- Identify shops that meet LPG cylinder storage and distribution requirements, and coordinate with procurement to ensure gas, cylinder, and related expenses are paid on time and in line with established credit terms.
- Coach agents on accurate and professional customer interactions, deliver refresher customer service training, and track CSAT, NPS, resolution time, and turnaround KPIs.
- Act on customer feedback surveys, conduct routine and ad-hoc customer check-ins, and ensure escalated field concerns are resolved promptly and accurately.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, Finance, IT, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience in last-mile delivery operations, ideally within a rider, driver, or agent network.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage relationships with riders, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, changing environment where priorities and processes evolve.
- Experience tracking how operational changes affect delivery efficiency and rider productivity.
- Experience preparing reports and recommendations for senior management on delivery optimization.
- Ability to spend time in the field across assigned territories and use data to guide rider performance decisions.
