Description:
A reputable organization in Abu Dhabi is looking to hire a proactive and detail-focused Supply Chain Officer to support its procurement and overall supply chain activities. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who have a solid background in procurement processes, supplier coordination, and inventory management, and are looking to contribute to a fast-paced and growing work environment.
The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth supply chain operations, maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track product demand trends and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability
- Oversee the full procurement cycle, from sourcing suppliers to final delivery of goods
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to achieve cost-effective purchasing outcomes
- Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, logistics, and warehouse teams
- Address and resolve issues related to delivery delays, product quality, and compliance standards
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with UAE regulations and internal policies
- Maintain accurate procurement records and update ERP systems consistently
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in inventory planning and demand forecasting
- Strong analytical mindset with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems will be considered an added advantage
