Role Overview
Provide clinical care for patients with ear, nose and throat conditions in a hospital setting. The role requires applying ENT clinical training to assess patients and support appropriate diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients presenting with ear, nose and throat concerns.
- Take patient histories and conduct relevant clinical examinations.
- Use clinical findings to inform diagnosis and care decisions within your scope of practice.
- Provide appropriate treatment and follow-up care for ENT conditions.
- Document consultations, assessments and care provided in patient records.
- Refer patients for further assessment or specialist care when needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Higher Diploma in Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Clinical Medicine.
- Registration with the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya (COC) and a valid practice licence.
- At least two years of hospital work experience after completing internship.
