Role Overview
This position sits where planning meets the field: the Field Service Supervisor owns the scheduling, dispatching and day-to-day coordination of waste management crews and equipment on offshore installations, keeping every job aligned with the terms the customer agreed to. The role directly protects both service quality and margin, because on-time delivery, contract adherence and cash collection all depend on how well a job is run and closed out. Serving as the customer's primary point of contact from preparation through closeout, the supervisor converts technical capability into repeat business and sustained revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and dispatch resource schedules that match each job's scope, required competence and utilisation targets, adjusting as offshore requirements shift.
- Apply Health, Safety and Environment standards and procedures in every situation, onshore and offshore, so compliance is never traded away for speed.
- Monitor job activities from mobilisation through closeout, identifying anything that threatens on-time delivery or deviates from contract terms and conditions.
- Own the customer relationship for job preparation, execution and closeout, leading business reviews and technical presentations and attending client meetings to advise on service delivery.
- Coordinate across organisational boundaries, including with the Field Service Team Lead on personnel planning and inquiries, to assemble the right people for each project.
- Manage bookings, timesheets and service tickets so that hours and materials billed reflect the work actually performed.
- Drive escalation of issues that could disrupt service delivery, and confirm invoices align with the contract or quote to prevent revenue leakage and secure timely cash collection.
- Work alongside colleagues and customers to supply technical guidance that resolves complex problems, particularly in deepwater waste management operations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 5+ years of total oilfield experience.
- A minimum of 3 years spent as a Supervisor within waste management.
- At least 5 years of waste management experience on offshore installations.
- Experience with deep water waste management operations.
- Knowledge of field service waste management installation and maintenance operations.
- Thorough understanding of the care and use of solids control and waste management equipment, including dryers, centrifuges, vacuums, screw conveyors and pumps.
- Proven leadership capability and the ability to manage, organise and coordinate field activities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the credibility to influence others and lead teams while building trusting relationships with both teams and customers.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring, developing and motivating teams within a global environment.
- Proficiency with IT tools such as MS Office — Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
