CitySolar is seeking a motivated Solar PV Design Engineer to join its team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in solar photovoltaic system design as well as fresh graduates with a relevant educational background who are eager to build a career in the renewable energy sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing Solar PV systems, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations. Candidates should be proficient in both Arabic and English and have a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop Solar PV systems for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Prepare PV system layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), calculations, and technical documentation.
• Ensure electrical designs comply with applicable engineering standards and regulations.
• Utilize PV design software and AutoCAD to prepare accurate project designs.
• Coordinate with project teams to support the successful execution of Solar PV installations.
• Ensure compliance with DEWA and TAQA Solar PV regulations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with relevant educational backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
• Strong understanding of Solar PV system design and engineering.
• Knowledge of electrical design principles and applicable standards.
• Familiarity with PVSyst and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with DEWA and TAQA PV regulations.
