Role Overview
As a Project Manager, you will lead business and technology initiatives from initial case and scope through delivery, operational handover and post-project review. You will coordinate teams and senior stakeholders to deliver agreed outcomes within approved budgets and timelines, while maintaining quality, governance and regulatory controls. Depending on the initiative, you may manage a major project, a complex programme workstream or several smaller projects, in Kenya or across Africa.

- Lead project teams throughout the delivery lifecycle, allocate work, track progress and provide direction on requirements, solution design and change control.
- Maintain integrated plans and forecasts covering milestones, costs, cash flow and resources; monitor delivery against approved budgets and obtain agreement for material changes.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies and quality concerns, escalating them appropriately and coordinating mitigation or contingency actions.
- Provide accurate, regular progress updates to accountable executives, senior stakeholders and steering committees, including delivery concerns and recovery actions.
- Prepare for implementation by coordinating operational training, handover, service management arrangements and service-level agreements; confirm required contracts are executed before launch.
- Apply project governance, quality, audit, risk and information-security controls, and coach workstream staff while monitoring their delivery and development needs.
