Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Role Overview

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will turn enterprise data and business needs into dependable AI products, from language-based tools and semantic search to forecasting and anomaly detection. You will take solutions through development, deployment, and ongoing improvement, with a focus on secure on-premise operation and practical performance in production.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and adapt LLMs and NLP workflows for enterprise use cases, using suitable models and evaluation methods.
• Design RAG systems and semantic search capabilities that retrieve relevant information from structured data and technical documents.
• Develop forecasting, supplier risk-scoring, anomaly detection, and optimization models to address business problems.
• Package and operate machine learning solutions in secure, on-premise environments, balancing reliability, scalability, and inference speed.
• Create automated workflows for model training, testing, deployment, and inference using MLOps practices.
• Track model quality and production behavior, investigate issues, and refine systems to improve results and reduce latency.
• Work with engineering and business colleagues to clarify requirements and deliver production-ready AI applications.

Requirements & Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in machine learning engineering; seven to ten years is preferred.
• Strong Python programming skills and hands-on use of PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, Pandas, and NumPy.
• Practical experience with LLMs, Transformers, NLP, Hugging Face, LangChain, and RAG architectures.
• Experience deploying and maintaining production machine learning systems, including work with Docker, Kubernetes, and MLflow.
• Ability to work with both structured and unstructured data, including SQL databases and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related discipline is estimated for this role.
