Senior Logistics Associate
Reports to: Logistics Manager
Job Summary
As Senior Logistics Associate, you'll play a key role in keeping Tushop's logistics operation running smoothly—from warehouse operations to last-mile delivery. You'll lead day-to-day execution, improve processes, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customers receive a reliable experience every time.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain operations trackers for managing float, inventory, and logistics fleet data.
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring accurate receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch of both first-party and third-party products.
- Manage inventory levels and accuracy, working with the tech and ops teams to ensure real-time stock visibility and minimal stockouts or overstock.
- Coordinate and oversee regular, quarterly and annually cycle counts of assigned inventory segments to verify accuracy and identify and address discrepancies.
- Coordinate with procurement and brand partners to schedule timely inbound deliveries and optimize warehouse space utilization.
- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse staff and riders to maintain efficiency, safety, and order accuracy.
- Manage last-mile delivery scheduling and routing, ensuring cost-efficient and on-time deliveries.
- Track delivery success rates and handle exceptions proactively, including customer complaints, failed deliveries, and rider performance issues.
- Monitor key logistics KPIs (e.g., delivery turnaround time, fulfillment accuracy, inventory shrinkage) and report insights to leadership.
- Support planning and execution of scale-ups for new hubs, high-demand periods, or geographic expansions.
- Train, coach, and supervise logistics staff fostering a performance-driven and accountable team culture.
- Work with product & tech team to improve current systems to aid in processing and delivering first-party and third-party orders.
- Work with relevant stakeholders to offer interdepartmental support.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
- Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or any related field from a recognized institution.
- 5 years proven experience in logistics, warehouse operations, and/or supply chain management with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Previous experience at a startup is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets with strong experience with functions such as QUERY, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Ability to handle large datasets, build reports, and automate workflows to drive continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in conducting audits and identifying underlying issues.
