Job Description

Human Resources Manager

An exciting opportunity for a strategic HR professional to lead talent acquisition, strengthen employee engagement, drive performance management, ensure HR compliance, and partner with business leaders to support organizational growth.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of HR, the Human Resources Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company’s objectives. The role requires a proactive leader who can manage the full employee lifecycle while fostering a positive, high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract, select, and onboard top talent.
  • Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to improve retention and workplace satisfaction.
  • Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Ensure full HR compliance with Kenyan labour legislation and internal policies.
  • Partner with business leaders to address organizational needs and support growth strategies.
  • Oversee employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
  • Manage learning and development programs to build capability and career progression.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5–7 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Supervisory leadership experience, with a track record of managing teams.
  • A valid IHRM Practicing Certificate.
  • Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour legislation.
  • Experience across recruitment, employee relations, learning and development, and performance management.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
