Senior Accounts Manager

A leading group in the UAE is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Manager to manage and oversee accounting operations in Ajman. This role is ideal for finance professionals with strong expertise in industrial accounting, cost management, financial reporting, and UAE tax compliance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting functions, financial controls, budgeting, reconciliations, month-end closing, and manufacturing-related accounting activities. Candidates with experience in perfumes, fragrances, cosmetics, FMCG, or manufacturing industries will have an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage overall accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Oversee industrial and cost accounting activities, including production costs and inventory valuation.

• Handle budgeting, financial controls, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes.

• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements, including calculations, returns, and documentation.

• Monitor accounting records and maintain accuracy across financial transactions.

• Manage ERP and accounting software systems to support business operations.

• Prepare financial reports and provide insights to support management decisions.

• Lead and guide accounting teams while ensuring efficient workflow.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of progressive accounting experience.

• Experience working with at least 3 different companies within the last 8 years.

• Arabic speaker is mandatory.

• Previous experience in perfumes, fragrances, cosmetics, FMCG, or manufacturing industries is highly advantageous.

• Strong hands-on experience in industrial accounting and cost accounting.

• Practical knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.

• Strong experience with accounting software and ERP systems.

• Experience with Phoenix Accounting System is highly preferred.

• SAP experience is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Financial reporting and budgeting

• Inventory valuation and production cost accounting

• Accounting operations and financial controls

• ERP systems and month-end closing procedures

• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Ability to independently manage accounting activities effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
