Senior Accountant

A reputable company in Ajman is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support financial management. This full-time permanent position offers the opportunity to play a key role in financial reporting, tax compliance, costing, and internal financial controls.

The ideal candidate will have strong accounting expertise, hands-on experience with UAE tax regulations, and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments. Candidates with manufacturing industry experience and strong analytical skills will be well suited for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations.

• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and maintain accurate financial records.

• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations, including timely filings.

• Manage product costing, including material, labour, and overhead cost analysis.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

• Oversee payroll processing and WPS compliance.

• Coordinate accounting documentation with HR, Sales, Operations, and Logistics teams.

• Maintain strong financial controls while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

• Strong practical knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.

• Proficiency in Tally Prime; experience with Odoo is an added advantage.

• Experience in manufacturing costing is preferred.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• English language proficiency is required.

• Willingness to work on-site in Ajman.
