Secondary Teachers (2x) – Mathematics Teacher & Chemistry Teacher

Role Overview

International Academic School (IAS) Dubai is recruiting two secondary teachers: one to teach Mathematics and one to teach Chemistry. Each teacher will plan and deliver subject lessons, assess learning, and help students build the knowledge and skills needed to progress through secondary education.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics or Chemistry to secondary students, adapting explanations and activities to the subject matter and learners’ needs.
• Prepare structured lesson plans and classroom materials aligned with the secondary curriculum.
• Assess student work and understanding, track progress, and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Maintain an orderly, welcoming classroom that supports participation and learning.
• Identify areas where students need further support and adjust teaching accordingly.
• Coordinate with teaching colleagues on student progress and shared academic priorities.
• Follow school policies and uphold professional teaching standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the relevant subject: Mathematics for the Mathematics position or Chemistry for the Chemistry position.
• Degree certificate(s) attested by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).
• Equivalency Certificate or Qualification Recognition Report issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR).
• Current residence in the UAE.
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of secondary-level teaching, lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
