Role Overview

Oaktree Primary School is recruiting teachers for Primary Class Teacher, Primary Class Teacher maternity cover, and Arabic A Teacher positions at its Al Quoz campus in Dubai. Teachers will plan and deliver age-appropriate learning, build a respectful classroom culture, and help pupils make progress across the British primary curriculum or Arabic A, depending on the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and teach lessons suited to pupils’ ages, abilities, and curriculum objectives.
• For primary class roles, deliver learning in line with the British primary curriculum.
• For the Arabic A role, teach Arabic A and develop pupils’ subject knowledge and skills.
• Use varied teaching approaches to engage pupils and respond to different learning needs.
• Establish clear routines and manage the classroom to support focused learning.
• Maintain an inclusive, encouraging environment where pupils can participate and learn.
• Work with colleagues to coordinate teaching and support positive learning outcomes.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience teaching the British primary curriculum.
• Primary Class Teacher: a B.Ed. in English is required.
• Primary Class Teacher maternity cover: a relevant teaching qualification is required.
• Arabic A Teacher: a bachelor’s degree in Arabic Education is required, along with previous Arabic A teaching experience.
• Confident classroom management, strong teaching practice, and the ability to adapt instruction for varied learners.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to contribute to pupils’ academic development.
