Role Overview
This position focuses on expanding the bank’s client portfolio by actively sourcing new business while deepening existing relationships. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle—from prospecting and pitching tailored banking solutions to closing deals and ensuring long-term client satisfaction. Your ability to meet revenue targets, understand client needs, and coordinate with internal teams directly contributes to the bank’s market growth and competitive standing.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across retail, SME, or corporate segments, while nurturing current accounts for repeat and expanded business.
- Present a range of banking products—including lending, deposits, and investment options—and tailor recommendations to each client’s financial profile.
- Analyze market conditions, competitor activity, and emerging client demands to inform sales strategy and uncover untapped segments.
- Develop persuasive proposals and presentations that clearly communicate the value proposition of the bank’s offerings to prospective clients.
- Consult with clients to determine their financial objectives, risk tolerance, and cash-flow needs, then propose suitable product combinations.
- Consistently track sales performance, maintain an accurate pipeline, and report on progress toward individual and team targets.
- Ensure all client accounts are serviced in line with internal policies, regulatory standards, and risk management protocols, escalating issues as needed.
- Coordinate with credit, operations, compliance, and other departments to deliver smooth onboarding and a seamless customer experience.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in business development, client relationship management, or sales within a bank or financial services firm.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales quotas and contribute to revenue growth.
- Solid understanding of banking products, lending frameworks, and financial analysis techniques.
- Working knowledge of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and risk assessment principles.
- Familiarity with the specific needs of retail, SME, or corporate banking clients and market dynamics.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a customer-first approach.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities independently, while also collaborating effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and CRM platforms for managing leads, tracking activities, and reporting.
