Job Description
Role Overview
This is a field-based sales position with Jubilee Life, focused on bringing in new clients while keeping existing ones well looked after. The day-to-day work revolves around identifying potential customers, presenting life insurance options, converting interest into signed policies, and maintaining those relationships over time. This role matters because new business growth and customer retention both depend on how effectively this person represents the brand and responds to client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in product and skills training sessions conducted by Jubilee Life to stay current on offerings and sales techniques.
- Identify and approach potential customers in the market to introduce Jubilee Life products and generate interest.
- Secure new business by actively soliciting sales and guiding prospects through the application process.
- Serve existing clients by addressing their queries, relaying accurate information to the company, and supporting ongoing policy needs.
- Protect and positively represent the company's brand and reputation in all customer interactions.
- Meet or exceed sales targets for policy count, annualised premium, persistency, and gross written premium across both new and renewal business.
- Attend meetings called by Jubilee sales management for training, supervision, motivation, and deployment into the market.
- Follow the industry code of conduct, all company regulations, and the applicable laws of the country governing insurance sales activities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
- A graduate, diploma, or certificate-level qualification is required.
- Minimum KCSE grade of C- (minus) or its recognised equivalent.
- Good IT and digital literacy, including comfort with using digital tools for sales and reporting.
- Self-driven personality with a positive attitude, strong discipline, and a determined, results-focused approach to selling.
- Ability to work independently in the field while staying aligned with company expectations and compliance standards.
