- Resolve complaints within required service timelines, keep customers informed, and follow issues through to closure using the established after-sales escalation process.
- Log after-sales matters as tickets and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, feedback, complaints, and service issues.
- Troubleshoot customer concerns, handle non-technical resolutions at the service centre, and refer unresolved product issues to the after-sales product team.
- Monitor service-centre stock through regular counts, maintain accurate inventory records, and help ensure commonly needed spare parts are available.
- Prepare reports on service-centre activity and stock levels, and review customer-service trends to identify practical improvements.
- Maintain service-centre operating standards and a clean, orderly environment during opening hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Work with the supervisor on daily sales measures, including targets, lead generation, and sales-call records; follow up on prospects and use demonstrations, market outreach, and referrals to support conversions.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of the company’s products and the ability to explain product information clearly to customers.
- Strong customer-service skills, including professional communication, complaint handling, and timely follow-up.
- Ability to troubleshoot and distinguish issues that can be resolved at the service centre from those requiring escalation.
- Organised approach to ticketing, record keeping, stock counts, inventory control, and report preparation.
- Ability to generate leads, maintain sales-call records, follow up with prospects, and support sales through demonstrations or customer referrals.
- The source does not specify a required number of years of experience or an education credential.
