Role Overview
This position centers on protecting and strengthening the company’s relationships with corporate clients by handling their day-to-day service needs and keeping them engaged with the organisation’s offerings. You will act as a dependable point of contact for intermediaries and HR teams, resolve issues quickly, spot early warning signs of client dissatisfaction, and contribute directly to the firm’s client retention goals. The work matters because consistent, proactive account management prevents client churn and sustains long-term revenue from group schemes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee routine service interactions for a defined portfolio of corporate schemes, ensuring each client receives timely responses and that service levels stay aligned with agreed expectations.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as claims, underwriting, and policy servicing to resolve scheme-specific queries and escalate issues through the correct channels when needed.
- Draft and compile renewal documentation, client performance review materials, and follow-up notes from client meetings to support engagement and negotiation processes.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and use digital policy administration tools to track client interactions, flag outstanding actions, and support retention initiatives.
- Participate in onboarding and handover processes for new schemes, helping to establish a strong working relationship from the outset and ensure uninterrupted service continuity.
- Analyse scheme experience data to identify clients that show signs of potential non-renewal, and support targeted outreach or intervention plans to address those risks.
- Assist with organising client engagement events such as wellness programmes, educational webinars, and training sessions for scheme members and HR teams.
- Champion digital self-service tools among clients to improve convenience and reduce friction in everyday service delivery.
Requirements & Qualifications
- At least 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in client relationship management, corporate account servicing, or insurance operations.
- Prior exposure to group insurance products, employee benefit schemes, or corporate healthcare solutions is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- A recognised professional insurance certification such as AIIK, ACII, or LOMA is an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to corporate clients and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with sharp attention to detail when reviewing client data, contracts, and renewal information.
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach, comfortable taking ownership of client requests and following through to completion.
- Demonstrated integrity in handling confidential information, with awareness of AML, Data Protection Act, and internal compliance requirements.
