Role Overview
You will be the operational backbone of the resort, stepping in across departments to keep daily routines running without friction in a fast-paced 4-star environment. Your focus is on the guest journey, from arrival to departure, ensuring each interaction meets the standard that earns repeat stays and positive reviews. This role is about proactive problem-solving, coordinating staff across shifts, and keeping the property's reputation intact through every busy season.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of day-to-day resort operations, supervising front-of-house and guest-facing teams to ensure every shift starts and ends with clear handovers.
- Anticipate and promptly resolve guest concerns, from room preference issues to service lapses, without requiring escalation to higher management.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage teams so rooms, public areas, and amenities are consistently ready for arrivals.
- Monitor guest feedback across check-in, in-stay, and checkout touchpoints, then turn insights into practical adjustments to service protocols.
- Support the front office team with reservations, check-ins, and group bookings during high occupancy periods.
- Conduct spot audits of cleanliness, safety, and service standards, documenting discrepancies and seeing them through to correction.
- Assist in training new team members on resort standards, upselling techniques, and guest communication etiquette.
- Step into any operational gap as needed—whether covering a desk shift or coordinating a special request—to keep the resort experience seamless.
Requirements & Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar operational or supervisory role within the hospitality sector.
- Verifiable experience working in a 4-star resort environment, with a clear understanding of the service expectations at that level.
- Strong command of guest management systems and standard front office software, with a fast, accurate typing and reservation handling ability.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a shift team under pressure, particularly during weekends, holidays, and full-house periods.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English; additional languages relevant to international guests are a plus.
- Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including mornings, evenings, and occasional nights, as the resort calendar demands.
