Mento Markets is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join its growing team in Dubai. This role is ideal for finance professionals who are skilled in accounting operations, reconciliations, and financial reporting within a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will manage bookkeeping, payment reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and support financial closing activities while ensuring accurate records and compliance with internal accounting procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping, ledgers, and accounting entries.
• Perform daily bank, PSP, and payment gateway reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Verify invoices, expenses, and financial transactions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Monitor account balances and investigate discrepancies or unmatched transactions.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist with audit requirements and maintain complete documentation.
• Coordinate with Payments, Operations, and Compliance teams.
• Improve accounting and reconciliation processes.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience in Forex/CFD, brokerage, fintech, or financial services is preferred.
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Accounting software and financial systems.
• Advanced Excel and reconciliation processes.
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Internal controls and audit documentation.
