Quality Improvement Officer

Role Overview

M.P. Shah Hospital is seeking an evidence-driven Quality Improvement Officer to strengthen quality, safety, and risk systems across the hospital. Reporting to the Risk and Quality Improvement Manager, you will turn improvement plans into measurable action by coordinating audits, guiding data use, and supporting teams as they adopt better processes. Your work will help the hospital meet recognised accreditation and regulatory standards while keeping patient care and operational excellence at the centre of daily practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the hospital-wide quality improvement programme and advise operational leaders on improvement priorities, decisions, and the integration of quality and risk management.
• Coordinate performance and process improvement activities with department and service leaders, and help develop quality standards, policies, and procedures.
• Put monitoring and evaluation frameworks into practice, create audit and monitoring tools, and lead the monitoring and evaluation team while supporting staff through review cycles.
• Apply data analysis and validation policies, improve data collection processes, help departments interpret their quality data, and take part in internal and external benchmarking.
