Requirements for Appointment:
- For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Diploma in any of the following Social Sciences: - Photojournalism, Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Communication Studies or Media Studies/Science from a recognised institution;
Duties and Responsibilities
This will be the entry and training grade for Information Assistants. Duties and responsibilities will include:-
- gathering, writing, dispatching news, information and features;
- managing information gathering and dissemination systems; and
- distribution of Government publications under the guidance of a senior officer.
