Role Overview
This position sits at the centre of a serviced apartment operation in Westlands, Nairobi, acting as the bridge between property owners who entrust their units to the business and the long-stay residents who occupy them. Day to day, you will keep landlords informed and confident while making sure guests experience responsive, well-maintained accommodation that encourages them to extend their stays. Because the role touches housekeeping, maintenance, reservations and finance, it directly shapes how smoothly the portfolio runs and how many clients choose to remain.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main day-to-day contact for landlords and property owners, providing updates on how their units are performing and responding to questions or concerns as they arise.
- Mediate and resolve disagreements between owners and the business, and obtain owner sign-off before major repairs, structural alterations or lease renewals proceed.
- Manage a portfolio of long-stay residents and corporate accounts, handling requests, complaints and escalations from first contact through to resolution.
- Coordinate contract extensions, renewal paperwork, lease adjustments and structured move-out processes for long-term guests.
- Work daily with housekeeping, repairs and maintenance, reservations and finance colleagues to track outstanding tasks and confirm work is completed on schedule.
- Log maintenance tickets, monitor repair progress and follow up on snagging items until they meet agreed quality and deadline standards.
- Flag recurring delays or service bottlenecks to senior management when they threaten property standards or client satisfaction.
- Handle the full unit lifecycle: onboarding new apartments through snagging inspections, condition audits, inventory verification, utility set-up and key handover, and offboarding units through final inspections, repair cost assessments, deposit reconciliation and handback.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in customer service, hospitality management, business administration, communications or a closely related discipline.
- Two to three years of practical experience in account management, customer service or a client-facing operations role.
- Background in serviced apartments, hospitality, real estate or property management is a distinct advantage.
- Strong relationship management skills, including the ability to negotiate and defuse conflict with high-value landlords and guests.
- Proven operational follow-through: proactive problem-solving, disciplined tracking of open issues and close attention to property detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
What We Offer / Why Join
- Net monthly remuneration of KSh 50,000 – KSh 70,000.
- A full-time, on-site role based in Westlands, Nairobi, with regular property visits across the managed portfolio.
- Direct exposure to both the real estate and hospitality sides of serviced apartment management, reporting to senior leadership.
- Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
To be considered, submit an updated CV together with a cover letter that sets out your experience in customer service and property coordination.
