Project Manager – Manufacturing Facility

Role Overview

Shaily UAE is seeking a Project Manager to lead delivery of a fully automated manufacturing facility in KEZAD, Abu Dhabi, from construction through equipment installation, commissioning and handover. You will coordinate building works, industrial services and production systems so the site is ready to meet its operational needs and begin manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the facility project from initial construction activities to final handover, tracking schedule, quality and project requirements.
• Coordinate civil, structural, MEP and fit-out work across the site.
• Oversee installation of industrial utilities, including chillers, cooling towers, HVAC, compressed air and process cooling systems.
• Manage installation of injection moulding equipment and automated production lines, coordinating suppliers and contractors.
• Direct consultants, contractors and equipment vendors, resolving interface issues and keeping work aligned with project milestones.
• Monitor site progress and workmanship, identify delivery risks and take action to address problems.
• Lead testing and commissioning activities and coordinate the facility’s readiness for handover before production starts.
• Ensure construction and installation work meets project specifications, safety standards and operational requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering at least one complete factory or industrial plant construction project.
• Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems and industrial utility infrastructure.
• Practical project management experience in industrial construction, including planning and coordination across multiple workstreams.
• Experience with machinery installation, factory automation or injection moulding facilities is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of commissioning and the integration of production equipment with building services.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills, with a hands-on approach to driving work through to completion.
