Role Overview
As a Product Operations Specialist, you will sit at the intersection of business teams, internal developers, and automation initiatives. Your day-to-day focus is making sure digital tools and automated workflows actually perform in the field — troubleshooting failures, refining processes, and turning messy operational requirements into clear technical briefs.
You matter to the organisation because you close the gap between what stakeholders need and what the tech team builds. When a field team hits a bug, a rollout stalls, or a process needs a smarter workflow, you are the person who diagnoses, documents, and drives the fix to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the resolution of technical issues raised by field users and business stakeholders, performing root-cause analysis and coordinating with engineering to ship permanent fixes.
- Monitor the health and performance of live products and automations, managing configuration updates and change requests without disrupting daily operations.
- Convert business needs into structured specifications — use cases, flow diagrams, and mock screens — covering user, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Lead rollout plans for new products, features, and automations across new geographies and user groups, answering queries and smoothing adoption.
- Identify manual bottlenecks and redesign them using AI tools and modern automation platforms to reduce effort and error.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams throughout the entire lifecycle, from initial concept through build, testing, and launch.
- Coordinate testing of applications, web panels, and end-to-end solutions across development, staging, and production phases.
Requirements & Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in product operations, product management, or a closely related tech-delivery role.
- Strong command of Excel and SQL for data analysis, reporting, and validation of automated processes.
- Hands-on familiarity with AI productivity tools and a practical understanding of how automation can replace manual work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented mindset that values accuracy, clean documentation, and the quality of the end-user experience.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability, especially when diagnosing technical setbacks and identifying the underlying cause rather than treating symptoms.
