Product Manager

Role Overview

You will lead the full lifecycle of digital financial products—from concept through launch and iteration—by synthesising market trends, user feedback, and business priorities into a clear product roadmap. Day to day, you collaborate with engineers, designers, and compliance specialists to deliver features that solve real customer pain points in payments, lending, or savings. Your work directly shapes how thousands of users interact with money, so balancing speed with regulatory rigour is central to the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and quarterly priorities for a specific fintech product line.
• Translate high-level business goals into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for engineering and design sprints.
• Conduct competitive analysis and customer research to identify unmet needs and differentiate our offering.
• Partner with data analysts to define key metrics (e.g., conversion, retention, funnel drop-off) and use insights to drive iterative improvements.
• Manage cross-functional trade-offs between scope, timeline, and technical feasibility during development.
• Own go-to-market planning, including internal stakeholder alignment, documentation, and launch communications.
• Monitor post-launch performance and run A/B tests to optimise features for user adoption and revenue impact.
• Stay current on financial regulations and integrate compliance requirements early in the product development process.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Economics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in fintech, digital banking, or a regulated financial services environment.
• Proven track record of shipping consumer-facing or B2B financial products from conception to scale.
• Strong analytical skills: comfortable querying data, running basic statistical tests, and building product dashboards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication – able to influence engineers, executives, and external partners without authority.
• Familiarity with agile development workflows (Scrum, Kanban) and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Aha!, Notion).
• Understanding of core fintech concepts such as payments rails, KYC/AML, risk scoring, or open banking APIs.
