Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated university lecturer to deliver high-quality instruction in a specialized academic field, while actively contributing to the intellectual life of the department. In this role, you will not only teach and assess undergraduate and postgraduate students, but also pursue your own research agenda, mentor emerging scholars, and help shape curriculum that meets both academic standards and professional demands. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials across assigned courses, ensuring content aligns with current academic and professional developments.
• Design assessments, grade student work, and provide constructive feedback that supports learning and academic growth.
• Supervise and mentor students for research projects, dissertations, and practical placements, guiding them to meet rigorous academic benchmarks.
• Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and learning resources while integrating innovative teaching methods and technologies.
• Conduct independent research and produce publications in recognised journals, as well as present findings at academic conferences and forums.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum review committees, and quality assurance processes to maintain high educational standards.
• Contribute to community outreach, professional engagement, and industry partnerships relevant to your area of expertise.
• Stay current with regulatory requirements and professional body expectations, ensuring all academic activities remain compliant.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A Master's degree in the specific area of specialisation from an accredited university is mandatory.
• A PhD in the relevant field is strongly preferred and will significantly strengthen your application.
• Demonstrable experience teaching at the university level, with evidence of effective classroom delivery and student assessment.
• Professional or industry experience in the field is highly valued, particularly where it enriches practical teaching and applied research.
• A track record of scholarly output, including published research, conference presentations, or other recognised academic contributions.
• Compliance with the standards and requirements of the Commission for University Education (CUE) and any other relevant statutory or regulatory bodies.
• Current registration or membership with the appropriate professional or regulatory association, where such registration is applicable to the discipline.
