Learning Support Assistant

Role Overview

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide individualized learning and behavioral support to children with additional learning needs at the Muhaisnah and Al Qusais locations in Dubai. Working alongside educators, therapists, and families, you will help each child develop practical skills, participate in learning, and build greater independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Support children during learning activities, adapting your approach to their individual needs and support plans.
• Use appropriate behavioral support techniques under the guidance of qualified professionals.
• Help children practise everyday life skills and take steps toward greater independence.
• Encourage engagement and positive interactions through patient, clear communication.
• Share observations and coordinate with educators, therapists, and families to support children’s progress.
• Keep accurate records of relevant activities, behavior, and development.
• Contribute to a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for children.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Degree in Psychology.
• ABAT, IBT, or RBT certification.
• Knowledge of child development, learning support, and behavioral support techniques.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to build positive relationships with children and families.
• A patient, compassionate approach and a genuine commitment to children’s development.
• Ability to work effectively with children who require additional learning support.
