OT Registered Nurse

A healthcare facility is seeking a compassionate and skilled OT Registered Nurse to join its operating room team. This role is focused on delivering high-quality perioperative nursing care and supporting surgical teams in maintaining safe and efficient operating theatre procedures.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting during surgical operations, ensuring sterile conditions, and providing continuous patient monitoring throughout procedures. This position requires strong clinical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to perform effectively in high-pressure surgical environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and required medical equipment

• Conduct preoperative patient assessments and ensure surgical readiness

• Maintain strict infection control and sterile environment standards

• Assist surgeons and operating theatre staff during procedures

• Monitor patient condition during surgery and respond to any changes

• Maintain accurate perioperative documentation and nursing records

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthetists, and healthcare teams for optimal patient care

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse license

• Experience in operating theatre or perioperative nursing

• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and OT protocols

• Ability to maintain sterility and follow infection control guidelines

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
