A reputed Eye Hospital in the UAE is seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Nurse / OT Nurse to join its healthcare team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in ophthalmic operating theatres and be capable of assisting with eye surgical procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care.
The successful candidate will support ophthalmic surgeries, provide pre-operative and post-operative care, and ensure compliance with infection control and operating theatre protocols. Candidates with strong clinical skills, compassion, and excellent communication abilities are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist ophthalmic surgeons during eye surgical procedures.
• Prepare patients before surgery and provide post-operative nursing care.
• Monitor patient conditions and ensure proper recovery support.
• Maintain operating theatre standards and follow infection control procedures.
• Prepare surgical equipment and ensure required supplies are available.
• Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients throughout treatment.
Requirements:
• Nursing qualification with relevant UAE eligibility.
• Proven experience in Ophthalmic Operating Theatre (OT) or Eye Surgery.
• Experience assisting with ophthalmic surgical procedures.
• Strong knowledge of pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
• Good understanding of infection control practices and OT protocols.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
• Compassionate approach with strong attention to detail.
