Description:
A logistics company in Dubai is seeking a motivated Operations Specialist – Import & Export to join its operations team. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in freight forwarding and import/export operations who can effectively manage shipment coordination and daily logistics activities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling shipping documentation, coordinating freight movements, monitoring shipments, and ensuring smooth operational processes. Applicants must have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in Dubai, UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate daily import and export operations for air and sea freight shipments.
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation in accordance with operational requirements.
• Handle shipment bookings and monitor shipments through to final delivery.
• Coordinate with customers, shipping partners, and internal teams to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and support smooth logistics processes.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Dubai (UAE) is mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Import & Export operations.
• Experience in handling air and sea freight shipments.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Shipping documentation.
• Customs procedures.
• Booking processes and shipment follow-up.
