Operations Manager – Logistics & Shipping

A leading organization is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee international logistics, shipping, and trade operations in Dubai. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional with extensive experience managing large-scale freight movements and coordinating global shipping activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient logistics operations, maintaining strong relationships with shipping partners, and managing high-volume container movements, particularly across Africa-to-global trade routes. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily logistics, shipping, and international trade operations.

• Manage high-volume container shipments while ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

• Coordinate Africa-to-global shipments and optimize international freight operations.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with global shipping liners and logistics partners.

• Develop effective shipping and trade planning strategies to improve operational efficiency.

• Monitor shipment performance, resolve operational challenges, and ensure service quality.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support smooth supply chain operations.

Requirements:

• 8–10+ years of relevant experience in logistics, shipping, and trade operations.

• Proven experience managing more than 300 containers per month.

• Strong experience handling Africa-to-global shipment operations.

• Established relationships with global shipping liners.

• Experience in shipping, trade planning, and international logistics.

• Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Strong knowledge of:

   • International logistics and shipping operations
