Supervisor – Operations & Customer Service (Sea Export)

Location: Dubai, UAE

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced freight forwarding professional to join our team as a Supervisor – Operations & Customer Service (Sea Export). In this challenging role, you will oversee sea export and cross-trade operations, manage pricing and carrier negotiations, and ensure exceptional customer service across global trade lanes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day sea export and cross-trade operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective shipments.
  • Prepare and negotiate freight pricing, quotations, and carrier contracts.
  • Coordinate with overseas agents and global trade lane partners to maintain smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with INCOTERMS, export documentation, and international shipping procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Supervise team coordination and communication to meet operational targets.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sea export and cross-trade operations within the freight forwarding industry.
  • Strong knowledge of freight pricing, quotations, and carrier negotiations.
  • Proven experience managing global trade lanes and working with overseas agents.
  • Sound understanding of INCOTERMS, export documentation, and international shipping procedures.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent customer service, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
