About the Role
We are seeking an experienced freight forwarding professional to join our team as a Supervisor – Operations & Customer Service (Sea Export). In this challenging role, you will oversee sea export and cross-trade operations, manage pricing and carrier negotiations, and ensure exceptional customer service across global trade lanes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day sea export and cross-trade operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective shipments.
- Prepare and negotiate freight pricing, quotations, and carrier contracts.
- Coordinate with overseas agents and global trade lane partners to maintain smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with INCOTERMS, export documentation, and international shipping procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Supervise team coordination and communication to meet operational targets.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sea export and cross-trade operations within the freight forwarding industry.
- Strong knowledge of freight pricing, quotations, and carrier negotiations.
- Proven experience managing global trade lanes and working with overseas agents.
- Sound understanding of INCOTERMS, export documentation, and international shipping procedures.

- Excellent customer service, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
