Description:
Medcare Hospital (Sharjah Branch) is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic OPD Head Nurse to join their healthcare team on an immediate basis. This role is suited for a senior nursing professional with strong leadership capabilities and extensive experience in outpatient department operations.
The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily OPD nursing activities, ensuring high standards of patient care, and maintaining smooth clinical workflow in coordination with medical and administrative teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage daily Outpatient Department (OPD) nursing operations
• Lead, guide, and mentor nursing staff to ensure effective team performance
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and clinical standards
• Maintain high-quality patient care, safety, and service delivery standards
• Coordinate with doctors, departments, and hospital staff for efficient patient flow
• Monitor and support quality assurance and clinical protocols within the OPD
Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years of nursing experience, including strong exposure in OPD operations
• Valid MOH or DHA license (MOH preferred for Sharjah-based role)
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Strong knowledge of patient care standards, clinical procedures, and quality assurance practices
• Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational abilities
• Immediate availability preferred
