Job Description

Job Title: Operations Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and optimize daily operations across the organization. In this role, you will ensure efficient resource utilization, effective project execution, and high-quality service delivery. You will work closely with country heads across the ISAT Group of Companies to handle operational matters and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Oversee daily business activities, optimizing processes and resources (staff, materials, technology) to ensure efficiency, high productivity, and cost reduction.
  • Collaborate with different country heads across the ISAT Group of Companies to manage and resolve operational matters.
  • Improve processes by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing changes that boost productivity.

Process Improvement

  • Analyze operational data to enhance workflow efficiency, reduce errors, and increase overall productivity.
  • Develop and implement process improvements that align with company objectives.

Budgeting & Finance

  • Develop and manage budgets, review costs, and optimize financial performance across operations.

Team Leadership

  • Manage personnel, including staffing, training, and maintaining team morale to ensure a high-performing workforce.
  • Align day-to-day operations with overall company goals through strategic execution.

Project Management

  • Work with project managers and across the group to ensure end-to-end project management, delivering on time, controlling costs, and maintaining quality through constant customer feedback.
  • Monitor project progress and set deadlines to ensure successful delivery.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Collaborate with the customer support manager on all customer-related operational matters, focusing on supervising day-to-day operations that affect customers.
  • Engage in customer management and visitation to ensure a positive customer experience and satisfaction.

Vendor, Pricing & Cost Management

  • Coordinate vendor management to build strong relationships and negotiate favorable pricing.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers by evaluating defined SLAs and negotiating costs to achieve cost reduction.
  • Conduct cost analysis, assess implementation solutions, and schedule solutions sold.

Compliance, Licensing & Permits

  • Ensure business compliance across all operations by working closely with the group person in charge of regulatory matters.
  • Follow up to ensure quarterly returns are submitted on time.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2+ years in a similar role within the telecom industry, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proven track record of success in managing and improving operations.
  • Experience managing operations in a complex environment engaging multiple stakeholders from different countries.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
