Description:
A growing logistics company in Dubai is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented NVOCC Pricing & Operations Executive to join its team. This role is ideal for professionals who have a strong understanding of both freight pricing strategies and operational execution. The position combines commercial insight with hands-on coordination, offering an opportunity to manage shipments from quotation through to final delivery.
The selected candidate will play a key role in optimizing freight costs, ensuring smooth shipment handling, and supporting business growth through effective pricing and operations management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and provide competitive freight quotations to customers and international agents
• Negotiate rates with shipping lines, co-loaders, and logistics partners
• Update tariffs, conduct cost analysis, and optimize margins
• Manage end-to-end shipment processes for both imports and exports
• Handle booking, tracking, and delivery coordination
• Prepare and review shipping documentation including bills of lading (BL), invoices, packing lists, and manifests
• Coordinate with transporters, customs authorities, warehouses, and destination agents
• Monitor vessel schedules, transit times, and cargo movement
• Resolve operational issues such as delays, discrepancies, and documentation errors
• Support the sales team with accurate and competitive pricing solutions
Requirements:
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in NVOCC, freight forwarding, or logistics
• Strong understanding of ocean freight pricing and operational workflows
• Good knowledge of import/export documentation and customs procedures
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple shipments independently and efficiently
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with shipping lines and overseas agents
• Familiarity with UAE customs regulations and port operations
• Customer-focused approach with a proactive mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment
