About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care, support health promotion activities, and contribute to the effective management of patient records using Health Management Information Systems (HMIS). You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for patients and communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
• Respond to medical emergencies using Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) protocols.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the Health Management Information System (HMIS).
• Provide health education and counseling to patients, families, and communities.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and adhere to nursing best practices.
• Collaborate with doctors, other nurses, and allied health professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or a Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing (KRCHN) from a recognized institution.
• Current registration and a valid license from the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• At least one year of internship clinical working experience.
• Proficiency in computer skills, especially with Health Management Information Systems (HMIS).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
