Working alongside engineering, maintenance, and production colleagues, you will build practical experience in equipment checks, basic fault-finding, and automation while helping keep manufacturing operations safe and reliable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with inspecting, operating, servicing, and maintaining industrial machinery and electromechanical equipment.
  • Help investigate straightforward mechanical, electrical, and equipment faults, escalating issues and following guidance from experienced staff.
  • Carry out scheduled equipment checks and support preventive maintenance activities.
  • Assist with installing, testing, and monitoring machinery, electrical components, sensors, and control systems.
  • Observe how automation and mechatronic systems are used in manufacturing processes and support related tasks.
  • Work with engineering and maintenance teams to document equipment problems and carry out corrective actions.
  • Record maintenance work, equipment performance, and relevant technical observations accurately.
  • Follow technical instructions, equipment-handling practices, and workplace safety procedures while coordinating with production teams.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma in Mechatronic Engineering from a recognised institution.
  • Recent graduates are welcome; previous professional experience is not required.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and control systems.
  • Interest in industrial machinery, automation, maintenance, and practical troubleshooting.
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving ability, with a hands-on approach to technical work.
  • Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and apply classroom knowledge in an operational setting.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to contribute as part of a technical team.
  • Careful attention to detail and a responsible approach to health and safety.
